Drybrush Oil Portrait Painting
Drybrush oil portrait paintings on watercolor paper.
The oil paint is applied with a dry brush on the surface. Most of the time I use a good quality watercolor paper with a nice texture.
As you can see on the examples, this technique allows a realistic result combined with a loose artistic style.
You need to provide me with one or more reference photos of good resolution and quality.

Practical information
In general for 1 person or animal I work at least on 30 x 40 cm. For 2 or more persons I recommend larger sizes (40 x 50, 50 x 50, etc…). This technique does not work well for very small portraits.
